Introduction
Spring by Amaze is a print-on-demand service dedicated to influencers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more, many of whom have over 10 million followers. I joined the team as a Senior Design Manager overseeing a team of three designers. Over time, I expanded the team to nearly ten designers, including overseas contractors. We worked on creating assets, products, and marketing campaigns for the influencer brand and their community.
My Role
As a Senior Design Manager, I mentored junior designers and collaborated closely with the marketing team, including the VP of Marketing, marketing managers, project managers, content writers, developers, and external designers. I managed projects across Monday.com to ensure constant communication and built automation using growing AI tools to meet demands and streamline processes. This resulted in reducing the design creation timeline from three weeks to just three days, achieving a 95% increase in efficiency.
My Impact
I worked on high-profile projects for notable figures such as PewDiePie, Jake Paul, Nardwuar, and Carbot Animations. These projects provided an estimated revenue of $250K. Within two quarters, I successfully launched over 100 creative projects. I also helped build processes at Spring by Amaze, including communication and hiring external designers, which are still in use today. After our department was affected by layoffs due to a change in company direction, my focus shifted to contract gigs as an individual contributor.
