Starting my career journey as a Web Intern during my time at Cal State University, Long Beach, I was promoted 5 times across 8 years, eventually landing the role of Design Director, where I was responsible for overseeing the product design and the creative services team.
My Role
Led the design direction for 7+ companies including marketing efforts, creating campaigns, tradeshow materials, print collateral, and overall branding.
Collaborated with cross-functioning teams including c-suite members, web developers, engineers, and product managers to lead product designs for mobile and web apps.
Hired key team members, including graphic designers, product designers, senior designers, and UX researchers, resulting in significant updates and overall app efficiency improvements.
My Impact
Designed a resource center that yielded $1M+ in partnership revenue and conducted A/B tested email campaigns for over 1 million users, significantly enhancing marketing efforts.
Led updates for the FreeConferenceCall app on desktop, web, iOS, and Android, introducing gallery view and breakout rooms based on user feedback, resulting in 10 million downloads, a 4.1 App Store rating from 58K+ reviews, and a 12% increase in sales
Created impactful tradeshow booths and collateral for several events, attracting tens of thousands of attendees and generating major leads in the telecom space.
